Hamilton Sunset has been a wonderful discovery for many of our residents..........people who have worked hard all their lives and have earned the right to settle in a comfortable and secure home. Since 1994, Hamilton Sunset continues to provide assisted living with private spacious suites and private bathrooms in a safe, secure, beautiful environment conveniently located to medical services and shopping.

 

 

 

 

 

Our attendants are caring people committed to encouraging our residents to feel at home while enjoying a quality, independent lifestyle. Three home cooked meals are provided daily with special attention to individual dietary needs. Personal care is provided to the degree preferred or needed including supervision of and assistance with prescribed medication.

Additional services include regular housekeeping, accessible laundry facilities and/or laundry service, on-site beauty shop services. All linen, tissue, and soap are provided and linens are laundered at no additional cost. Regular activities are provided, as well as, scheduled voluntary Bible study. Our community support provides many varied volunteer activities and programs throughout the year.

Residents are free to plan their day and have others take care of the chores they would rather not do. Our outside patio, flower garden space, and unobstructed walking space provide easy outdoor access. Residents are free to come and go. Friends and family are welcome anytime, even at meal time. Ample parking space is available for both residents and visitors.

Will I be safe? Attendants are staffed 24 hours per day. Hamilton Sunset is a licensed assisted living facility and a member of the Alabama Assisted Living Association. A fire detection system is active throughout resident suites and the entire facility. Each room is protected by a sprinkler system. An emergency call system is provided in each suite and bathroom to summon help if needed. We are routinely inspected by the State Department of Public Health.
